Cladding removal and painting
This project is complete.
The Victoria Park Residences cladding, rendering and painting project is being undertaken to address safety and water-ingress concerns associated with the building’s existing cladding, while also protecting and refreshing the complex. Delivered by Programmed Property Services, the project includes removing timber cladding and corrugated Colorbond sheeting throughout the complex, rendering and painting the underlying surfaces, resealing inaccessible windows and ventilation openings, and repainting nominated exterior surfaces and internal common areas. The works will use a Dulux coating system and form part of a seven-year maintenance program designed to preserve the building’s appearance and provide ongoing protection.

Intercom
Replacing the old intercom with a new system
A new intercom system is being installed, replacing the current one, which has been causing problems in some apartments.
The proposed new system works through an app on your phone. When someone buzzes your apartment, you'll get a notification, see who's there, and can let them in straight from the app.
Once the new system is switched on, the current monitors inside each apartment will become redundant and need to be removed at the owner's expense.
This decision was taken by the prior committee and the new committee is currently looking at options for residents who would prefer a screen on the wall instead of using a phone. No decision has been made yet, and owners will be asked before anything is decided.
If you rent, please check with your landlord or property manager before installing anything in your apartment.
