Only place securely bagged household rubbish in the chute. Do not force down anything that does not fit easily, as bulky or heavy items can block it.

Use the chutes, but please be mindful of noise
The chutes are there for residents to use. Sound travels directly into the apartment beside them, particularly early in the morning and at night.
A small courtesy: where possible, please use the chutes between 7 am and 9 pm. Glass can be extremely loud, so neighbours living beside the chutes would appreciate bottles and jars being carried down to the recycling bins. This is not mandatory, but it is greatly appreciated.
Do not leave furniture or unwanted items in common areas
The bin room, corridors and other shared spaces are not dumping areas. Offer clean, usable items on the foyer noticeboard or sell them. Donate items that still have useful life
